He’s all over the telly tonight as part of the Colleg Tour interview series, but a guided tour of Holland’s most notorious criminal’s stamping ground is apparently deeply popular.
The tour of the Jordaan takes in Willem Holleeder's birthplace, his favourite bar and the place where he had his first fight.
The tour even covers the place where Freddie Heineken kept a mistress in the 1970s, years before Holleeder kidnapped him and his driver.
According to the Parool’s article on the tour, the driver got so bored waiting for Freddie to do his stuff that he used to play football with the local kids – including a young Willem Holleeder.
